A Dozen Roses: Honoring Our Mothers

Sunday, May 14 – 4 p.m.

Tickets are $16 for Adults, and $9 for Children 17 & under (Online purchases will incur a convenience fee)

For the final concert of our 66th Season, The Wilmington Choral Society presents this Mothers’ Day program as a  bouquet of musical “gifts” to the women who shape our lives in innumerable ways each and every day, simply titled, “A Dozen Roses”. There are some duplicate titles, but the composers have taken totally different approaches to their works, one of the wonderful things about choral music, and a reflection of life.  You’ll recognize a Robert Burns poem and a Broadway tune or two, though the songs in French and Hebrew might be new to you. All in all,  a lovely program for a Mother’s Day Sunday afternoon!

Plan now to share lunch or dinner with your mother, or family and friends. The concert location in Historic Downtown Wilmington at The Wilson Center offers easy access to restaurants on North Fourth Street, as well as those along the Riverwalk or in Historic Downtown, with azaleas still in full bloom.

Seating for this event is General Admission.

Note: This program is brought to you by Wilmington Choral Society.  Not affiliated with Cape Fear Stage or Cape Fear Community College.
