CFCC’s Wilson Center has been designed with accessibility in mind for audience members and performers of all abilities. From accessible seating for our guests, to accessible control rooms for technicians, the Center seeks to meet the needs of everyone, so that we all can enjoy the show!

Accessibility Services

Accessible Seating

Wheelchair accessible seating is available at all price tiers on the Orchestra level. Step-free seating is available in rows A-Q, in the Parterres, and Opera Box C & F. All of our accessible seating is within 60 feet of the front of the stage.

When you place an order for a ticket, please indicate if you have a:

  • Wheelchair
  • Walker
  • Service animal
  • Visual, hearing, or mobility impairment

Please also indicate if you are in need of companion seating.

IMPORTANT: Accessible seating locations (i.e.. Wheelchair spaces and companion seats) are intended for use by individuals with disabilities and their companions only. By purchasing tickets for accessible seating online through the Wilson Center, buyer represents that they or a member of their party has a disability that requires accessible features provided by the seating locations being purchased. The Wilson Center may investigate potential misuse of accessible seating where there is good cause to believe that such seating has been purchased fraudulently. In appropriate cases, the Center may, in its sole discretion, cancel an order for accessible seating that it believes to be fraudulent or improper and reserves the right to pursue legal action against individuals who fraudulently purchase tickets for accessible seating. The Center also reserves the right to relocate to other seats, patrons who have tickets for accessible seating locations, but who do not need accessible seating.

Assistive Listening Devices

Assistive Listening Devices (ALDs) are available at Guest Services. When you arrive at the Center for a performance, please see one of our volunteers at the Guest Services desk to check one out. ALDs connect through an FM transmitter to the sound system in the theater. Guests have the option to choose between standard headphones or a T-Coil loop that communicates with T-Coil hearing devices. Please make sure to return the device at the conclusion of the show.

American Sign Language Interpretation

If you would like to request an interpreter for a performance, please call (910) 362-7895 at least 30 days prior to the event. It is best to request this service at time of ticket purchase. Performances for which ASL Interpreters have already been booked will be indicated as such on the individual event pages.

Accessible Parking

Accessible parking is located in the Hanover Student Parking Deck, near the elevators at each corner on every level, and in designated spaces in Student Lot #2. The path between the Deck and the front doors is step-free. Guests utilizing drop-off or ADA parking should enter the deck through the Hanover and 2nd Streets entrance. Parking attendants will be present to guide you one hour prior to the show (6:30 pm for a 7:30 pm show.) Wheelchair escorts are provided through Guest Services. Please ask any Center Staff Member for assistance.

Large Print & Braille Programs

If you would like to request a large print or braille program, please call (910) 362-7895 at least 30 days prior to the event. Please note that not all events have programs.

Audio Description

If you would like to request audio description for a performance, please call (910) 362-7895 at least 30 days prior to the event. Performances for which audio description services have already been booked will be indicated as such on the individual event pages. Please note that this service is not available for all events.

Captioning

If you would like to request captioning for a performance, please call (910) 362-7895 (if possible, at least 30 days prior to the event). Performances for which captioning services have already been booked will be indicated as such on the individual event pages. Please note that this service may not be available for all events.

Guests will need to bring their own smartphone device, and the Wilson Center will provide the captioning service and a link to access the captions via the guest’s device for that performance.

Accessible Restrooms

All restrooms at the Center are wheelchair-accessible. Family/Gender Neutral Restrooms, including diaper changing stations, are also available on the Orchestra and Grand Tier levels, by the elevators.

Other Services

Opera Glasses are available for sale at Orchestra Level concessions. Ear plugs are also available at Guest Services.
