The MOVE! Dance Series is our community dance residency program. The world-class dance companies we bring as part of Move! perform—but they also do so much more. The dancers spend time in our community, offering free-of-charge workshops, master classes, and demonstrations for local nonprofits and arts groups as well as CFCC students.
MOVE! Dance Series activities are not just for dancers. Reaching out and introducing non-dancers to the joys of expression through movement is an integral part of our mission. Residency activities vary depending on the company in residence and the theme of their performance. Activities include workshops, masterclasses, lecture demonstrations, Q&A sessions, and more. Community organizations and CFCC faculty/students interested in hosting residency activities should fill out the interest form below:
