Director’s Showcase

Friday, April 27th & Saturday, April 28th – 8:00 p.m.

Tickets are $5 for public, $4 for Students and CFCC faculty/staff.*

(*Price includes facility fee and sales tax. Online purchases will incur a $0.50 convenience fee. CFCC Faculty/Staff/Students must purchase tickets in-person at Ticket Central for CFCC discount, one discounted ticket per CFCC ID. )

Approx. running time: one hour. No intermission. Adult situations and language.

Enjoy an evening of 4 one-acts plays, directed by students in the Cape Fear Community College Humanities and Fine Arts Department:

Ms. Haviland is having issues selling a house with a disturbing past, but a mysterious stranger, Dr. Simian, is very interested.

Tom and Jerry, two men who met in the late summer of their lives, recount for the audience their romance and subsequent marriage.

Returning to a small New Jersey town to care for her sick mother, a semi-successful novelist runs into an old high-school classmate in a 24-hour convenience store at 3:30 a.m.

Elliot is almost done with rehab.  Together, with Abby, his fiance, he tries to take the first tentative steps towards fixing their relationship.
