Tickets for this performance range $29.50 – $79 + fees and sales tax
Born Edward Joseph Mahoney in Brooklyn, NY, Eddie always wanted to be a musician but decided to follow in his Father’s footsteps and become a Police Officer. But after being in law enforcement for 2 years, he decided to try music, moved to California and changed his name to Eddie Money. After meeting the legendary producer Bill Graham and signing with Columbia Records, Money’s career took off with his 1977 debut album. “Baby Hold On” and “Two Tickets to Paradise” became quick hits and were followed by a stream of top 40 hits including “Think I’m in Love” and “Shakin.” Another platinum hit was “Take Me Home Tonight” with Ronnie Spector.
This program is proudly brought to the Wilson Center by Cape Fear Stage, the presenting arm of Cape Fear Community College.
