Formed in Boston in 1986, Pixies emerged as one of alternative music’s most influential pioneers, shaping the sound of multiple generations of musicians with their volatile mix of jagged guitars, outlandish lyrics, and sudden bursts of rhythm and melody. Best known for their iconic tracks like “Where Is My Mind,” “Here Comes Your Man,” “Hey,” and “Debaser,” and the platinum-certified album Doolittle, Pixies have paved the way for artists like Nirvana, Radiohead, Smashing Pumpkins, Weezer, and countless others.

Now, 40 years on, founding members Black Francis, Joey Santiago, and David Lovering, joined by current bassist Emma Richardson, are celebrating their legacy with Pixies 40. On this new worldwide anniversary tour, audiences can experience one of the most distinctive sounds in modern music while hearing their favorite hits alongside Pixies’ latest album, The Night the Zombies Came.
