Hedda Gabler’s bad-boy former lover pays a visit, bringing his new girl and winning manuscript along, which taunts and torments Hedda in her newlywed life with her kind, unambitious (read: boring) husband, and poses a threat to his promotion. What’s a girl to do but set in motion a game of entrapment aimed at eliminating her enemies, even at the risk of it fatally back firing?   Without the luxuries of her upbringing, restless Hedda must assert her dominance somewhere—but to what end? Puppet master Hedda may find herself entangled in her own strings

See this  classic Ibsen play in an emotionally charged, pared down form. Director Jessica Gaffney focuses on the emotional truth of this classic drama, rather than lavish set trimmings, allowing the actors to explore the inner relevance of this 1880’s play.
