Intern Spotlight: AJ Vos

AJ Vos is a senior at the University of North Carolina Wilmington, where he is majoring in business administration with a concentration in marketing strategy. He also serves UNCW as the President for the Association for Campus Entertainment, helping plan a multitude of various virtual events for this year including movies, concerts, trivia nights, and other types of events.. He has a passion for entertainment which is what lead him to the Wilson Center.

At the Wilson Center, AJ works as a Marketing and Social Media Intern. AJ is very excited for this role because of his love for entertainment and marketing. He is drawn to marketing because he loves the base idea of communicating with people about the products that they’re interested in. He also loves the concept marketing strategy and how to best market certain products to the target audience. At the Wilson Center he hopes to learn more about strategy and how to best design the right ads for the right show for the right audience. While at the Wilson Center, AJ hopes to learn more about performing arts and the industry around it.

AJ’s love for entertainment is present in his personal life as well. He plays guitar and has played in bands before. He also loves watching hockey and is a die-hard Red Wings fan. After graduation, AJ hopes to combine these passions with his degree and work with a venue, sports team, or sports/entertainment agency where he would be a part of the marketing of various events, brands, and personalities.
