Intern Spotlight: Brooke-Adisyn Arney

Brooke-Adisyn Arney is a senior at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. She is majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing Strategy. At the university, she is a Marketing Assistant for an on-campus organization, UNCWeekends, a member of Pi Sigma Epsilon, a professional marketing and sales fraternity, and a member of the women’s club basketball team. Additionally, she works at the YMCA where she helps individuals who are interested in obtaining a membership as well as those who are existing members. At the Wilson Center, she is a Marketing and Social Media intern.

“I look forward to learning about the internal functions of the theater as well as learning about marketing outside of the classroom setting,” says Brooke.

In her free time, she enjoys attending live performances, sporting events, doing anything outdoors, and playing basketball and golf. Her favorite live performance that she has attended is The Phantom of the Opera at the Belk Theater at Blumenthal Performing Arts Center. Regarding sports, she enjoys watching them all! She has played basketball and soccer her entire life and began playing golf five years ago. Two of her favorite things to do outdoors are going to the beach and hiking. Throughout the entirety of her life up until college, she has lived about forty-five minutes away from the mountains. Therefore, she has always found hiking to be a relaxing activity. She chose to attend UNCW because she is a beach girl at heart, and she loves living on the coast!
