Emma Nielsen is a senior at UNC Wilmington majoring in Digital Arts with a concentration in Mobile Applications and Web Programming, along with a double minor in computer science and studio art. Emma is excited to serve as one of the Marketing and Social Media Interns for the Wilson Center this year! She is looking forward to further developing her graphic design and digital marketing skills.
Emma has been heavily involved on campus over the past 4 years, serving on the Randall Library’s Board of Advisors, as a Digital Artist for the UNCW Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship’s Media Team, and as a Graphic Design and Brand Identity Artist for Pier601 Creative. Emma has also had experience as a Web Design Intern at Group 82 Music, and as an Accounting/Finance intern at Shipco Transport.
Emma is originally from Copenhagen, Denmark, but grew up in Charlotte, North Carolina. When not behind her laptop, Emma loves swimming and surfing at Wrightsville Beach, traveling (over 20 countries so far!), and drinking coffee.
