NC Live Coalition Moves Forward to Help Bring Live Entertainment Back
The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College is proud to take part in the NC Live Coalition that is helping bring live entertainment back across North Carolina. Consisting of numerous large event and entertainment venues from across the state, the NC Live Coalition seeks to provide guidance and best practices to ensure the safe reopening of our facilities.
With an executive committee of representatives from each venue group, the leaders have been in discussion to develop procedures for venues to safely reopen their doors when the time comes. While each venue’s website will have detailed information on their venue specific procedures, fan experience modifications span from cashless transactions, venue disinfection, staggered arrival times for entering, and temperature checks. Each venue’s priority remains on the safety of the audience, staff and patrons.
An NC Live Coalition Reopening Guide can be found here. To learn more about the Wilson Center’s reopening procedures, visit our Guidelines for Returning to the Center.
Millions of patrons across North Carolina attended thousands of events presented by the NC Live Coalition venues in 2019.
