The season opens with Beethoven’s serene and evocative “Pastoral” symphony and two masterpieces by Rachmaninoff—the symphonic poem The Rock is followed by the scintillating Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini, performed by award-winning pianist Micah McLaurin.
