Presents “A Man’s Requiem”

Wednesday, March 9 – 7:30pm

Tickets are $30+taxes and fees

Approachable, thought provoking and thoroughly enjoyable for newcomers to and veterans of contemporary dance, A Man’s Requiem explores the powerful idea of a sinner’s judgment day. It’s a modern, ritualistic expression of the Korean Buddhist/Christian belief system you won’t want to miss. A Man’s Requiem premiered at the World Festival of National Theaters in Korea and has successfully toured nine countries, as well as extensively through South Korea.

KIM Yong Chul SEOP Dance Company was established in 1992 by award-winning choreographer KIM Yong Chul and is rooted in Korean traditional dance. Its mission is to make creative Korean dance more contemporary for International audiences.

This program is supported through the generosity of the North Carolina Arts Council and the National Endowment for the Arts.
