Sing Me To Heaven

The Wilmington Choral Society spring concert features John Rutter’s “Requiem”, a musical setting of parts of the Latin Requiem with added psalms and biblical verses in English. In addition the Chorus sings the Faure′ “Cantique de Jean Racine”, and “Sing Me to Heaven”, a best-selling choral anthem by Daniel Gawthrop, published in 1991.
The Chorus will be supported by a chamber orchestra, and we will also feature soprano soloist Shannon Kessler Dooley. The Society also award our annual music scholarship to a local high school senior, and collect donations to Mother Hubbard’s Cupboard food bank.

 

This is a Reserved Seating event. Appropriate for all ages.  Each person, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
