The Great Wilmington Nutcracker
Saturday, December 15 – 6pm & Sunday, December 16 – 3pm
Tickets for this performance range from $25 – $55+ taxes & fees. Every attendee, regardless of age, must have a ticket.
The US International Ballet (USIB) performs the Great Wilmington Nutcracker under the leadership of Italian Ballet Stars, Walter Angelini and Ines Albertini. USIB mesmerizes audiences with over 30 professional dancers from 5 countries. The Great Wilmington Nutcracker is typically “sold out” before the first show and is the only ballet to ever sell out the Wilson Center!
A winner of Encore Magazine’s “Best Theatrical Show in Wilmington”, the production features unique elements including aerial artists, stilt walkers, high-tech digital imagery, and more. Majestic sets, stunning costumes, and intricate choreography create an enchanting holiday experience. Wilmington Ballet Company (WBC) partners with USIB to involve the community in the ballet. Local youth dancers accent professionals and bring delightful elements to the show.

A new feature will be the inclusion of athletes from the Special Olympics in both the party scene and an intermission show. By attending The Great Wilmington Nutcracker, you are supporting the inclusion of peoples with intellectual disabilities. Don’t miss a performance deemed “spectacular” by Arthur Shuey of the star news and “professional” by Daniel Seamans formerly of WWAY.
Arrive early to enjoy pre-show festivities, including Christmas caroling, youth performances, and character photo-ops.
Run time is approx 2 hours, including intermission.
