If you are visiting Wilmington for a performance at the Wilson Center, we hope you’ll have the opportunity to spend a few days with us. From quaint inns to seaside resorts to riverside hotels, the Wilmington area has lots of options for those looking to stay in the Port City.
Both Wilmington Downtown, Inc. and the Wilmington and Beaches Convention and Visitors Bureau are good resources to help you choose accommodations. We also have some local recommendations, convenient to downtown and the Wilson Center:
Connected to the Riverwalk, nominated as one of America’s best, Aloft Wilmington at Coastline Center offers ideal accommodations for either the business or leisure traveler. Relax in a spacious loft-inspired room with plush bedding, a flat panel TV, rainfall showerhead, and more. For an evening in, try one of our on-site restaurants The Atlantic Restaurant & Wine Loft for fine dining or our rooftop bistro aView, while enjoying a beautiful sunset on the Cape Fear River. Have a cocktail at WXYZ bar or listen to live music at Re:mix.
The Embassy Suites by Hilton Wilmington Riverfront is an all-suite hotel along the Cape Fear Riverwalk. While you’re here, attend events at the Wilmington Convention Center – directly connected to the hotel. You’ll be steps away from top restaurants, shops, and activities in historic downtown Wilmington. Also, the USS North Carolina battleship is moored by the hotel, and boat tours along the Cape Fear River await. Meanwhile, the best of Broadway, music, comedy, and dance are all just a short walk away at the Wilson Center.
A warm Wilmington stay near the river. The Hampton Inn Wilmington Downtown is within a mile of restaurants and museums. Low-key rooms with modest decor offer free Wi-Fi, flat-screen TVs and sitting areas. Understated suites add microwaves, minifridges, and tea and coffeemakers, plus sofabeds.
Breakfast is complimentary. There’s an indoor pool, a patio and a 24-hour fitness center. Other amenities include a laid-back lobby lounge and a coin-operated laundry. Parking is available for a fee.
