Born and raised in San Jose, California, and of Mexican and Native American descent, Anjelah Johnson-Reyes is one of the most successful stand-up comedians today. With six comedy specials and a history of sold-out shows around the world, Anjelah is now embarking on her global stand-up comedy tour, “The Family Reunion,” in major theaters around the world.
As an actor, memoirist, and podcaster, Anjelah finds herself at an exciting crossroads—moving towards a new season in her life as a mother and family matriarch. “The Family Reunion” tour dives into Anjelah’s experience of motherhood in her forties and stories about the most important people in her life: her husband, daughter, family, and friends.
