FAQ

Where should I buy tickets?

The Wilson Center Box Office and WilsonCenterTickets.com are the only official ticketing providers for Wilson Center events. Tickets purchased from resellers are often inflated in price and not eligible for event cancellations, rescheduling, or other changes. Buying directly from the Wilson Center is the only way to guarantee real tickets at the best price.

Can I exchange my tickets or get a refund?

All sales are final, please contact the box office with any questions.

What are the box office hours?

The Wilson Center Box Office is open Monday through Friday from 2pm to 6pm. During a show on-sale, the box office will be open from 10 am to 6pm.

What time does the Wilson Center open before the show?

The Wilson Center opens one hour before showtime.

Does the Wilson Center host backstage tours?

We offer behind-the-scenes tours to the general public, hosted by the Wilson Center staff. These tours last approximately 45 to 60 minutes and highlight the view from all levels of the theater, on stage, backstage, and the opportunity to see where artists prepare for the show.

For more information or to schedule a tour, please contact Tammy Daniels at [email protected].

Can I take photos or record videos during the show?

Each show’s photo and video policy will be available on lobby monitors and announced before the show. No professional photography is allowed without prior approval.

What is the safety policy?

Cape Fear Community College works closely with the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office to ensure the safety of guests at the Wilson Center. Security will be present at all performances. If you are in need of assistance, please contact the nearest staff member and in the event of an emergency, please dial 911.

For your safety, all guests and their bags are subject to inspection using our weapons detection system upon arrival.

As stated in the North Carolina General Statute, G.S.14-269.2, it is unlawful for any person to possess or carry, openly or concealed, any weapon on campus, or any CFCC educational property. If any guest arrives at the facility with a firearm or handgun, you will be instructed to return the weapon to your car. The Wilson Center does not have a weapons check-in, and we will not take possession of firearms under any circumstances.
