Frequently Asked Questions

How do I buy a ticket to a virtual performance?

The virtual performance ticket buying process is the same as our regular ticket buying process, except that you will select “E-Ticket” to get your ticket via email. Tickets are available for purchase on the Events Page. Click the event tile above to access the virtual performance. You must be logged into our website with the Spektrix account you used to purchase the ticket(s) in order to view the stream.

Please note: you do NOT need a ticket for our free virtual events, but donations are appreciated. Please see the event page of the performance you are interested in for more details.

The event I want to buy a virtual ticket for has different price levels. What is the difference between the levels?

There is no difference between the tickets, other than the amount of support that you will be giving to the presenting organization and the Wilson Center. There is a designated minimum per household to access virtual events, but you may choose one of the higher price levels if you would like to offer more support. Everyone will get the same view regardless of which ticket they buy.

Example Ticket Levels:

Streaming Access – $10

Supporter Streaming Access – $25

Champion Streaming Access – $50

The event I want to buy a virtual ticket for is listed as free. Do I still need to get a ticket?

Tickets are NOT required for our free events. Click the event tile above to access the virtual performance for free. However, donations are appreciated. Please see the event page of the performance you are interested in for more details.

I don’t see my ticket in my email. What do I do?

Below are some possible solutions. If you still encounter problems, please do not hesitate to contact Ticket Central.

  • First, check your receipt to see what method of delivery you selected. If you selected “Will Call,” you will not have received the ticket in your email. You must select “E-Ticket.” Please contact Ticket Central at 910-362-7999 or at tickets@wilsoncentertickets.com to change your delivery method.
  • Check to see if perhaps the email ended up in your spam folder.
  • Double-check that the email inbox you are looking for the ticket in is the same email you use for your Spektrix account.
  • You can also find your e-tickets by clicking “My Account” in the top right corner area of this website. Be sure you are logged in with the same email address that you used when purchasing your tickets. Once logged in, click “E-Tickets” to find a list of all upcoming events you have tickets for, and links to download the tickets.

A viewing window can be anywhere from 24-hours up to a week or more where you can view the performance on-demand after the initial premiere. A few guests experience issues loading the stream and our web page because their browser was out of date. Make sure you have the latest update prior to the start of the stream. Is the performance actually “live”?

Yes! Unless otherwise indicated, Live at the Wilson Center events are streamed live from the Wilson Center stage using a limited staff and all applicable safety measures.

Our whole family wants to watch. How many tickets do I need to buy?

While only one ticket is necessary per household, your ticket purchases help us keep our theater alive and support all the artists involved in the process. If you have a larger group, please consider purchasing a Family ticket at a higher price level, or more than one ticket to offer more support. In most cases, yes! If the performance has a viewing window after the initial premiere date, you are still able to purchase tickets, provided you do so in time to watch the event before the ticket window closes.
