Mood swings, hot flashes, and memory lapses, oh my! Menopause is no joke, but this musical will still have you giggling, hooting, and hollering. The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) is overjoyed to welcome “Menopause the Musical 2” Cruising Through ‘The Change’” on its international tour for two whirlwind performances on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at 3”00 p.m. and 7:30 p.m.
Five Years after their chance encounter in the underwear section of a department store, Professional Woman, Soap Star, Earth Mother, and Iowa Housewife, set sail on a life changing cruise. These fearless and hilarious women hope for brighter shores ahead, before they’re met with the turbulent waters of dating, grandchildren, body changes, and more. They’re left no choice but to tackle these challenges head on with choreographed dance numbers and re-lyricized parodied musical classics. Is there any other way?
This hit comedy-musical is the sequel to the long-running original, “Menopause The Musical,” which has performed in every state in the continental United States, more than 500 cities worldwide, and been translated into nine languages. There’s a reason it’s the longest-running musical in Las Vegas History! Now, you can join the 17 million viewers who have cherished and enjoyed these beloved heroines for over 20 years.
If you feel a change a-coming, or know someone cruising into “the change,” this is the show for you. Celebrate the realities of life after 40 through female friendship, flirtatious fun, and a one-night all-inclusive tropical vacation!
