Wilson Center Announces New ‘Wonder Series’—Featuring Package Discount & Student Pricing

The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College is thrilled to announce the brand-new Wonder Series , which joins the PNC Broadway Series, MOVE! Dance Series and Stars Series under the Wilson Center Presents presenting arm. The Wonder Series is home to the awe-inspiring, unique programming that audiences have come to know and love at the Wilson Center. This series also features a $10 all-inclusive ticket for students of all ages.

This season’s lineup so far includes The Queen’s Cartoonists, Mummenschanz, Nochebuena: A Christmas Spectacular, Malevo, and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Similar to the Stars Series, the Wonder Series will continue to add performances throughout the season; more shows in the Wonder Series will be announced soon this fall.

“We are proud to be a hub for student learning,” said Shane Fernando, Former Vice President of Advancement and the Arts at CFCC and Executive and Artistic Director of the Center, “With this series, we’ve made it more affordable and accessible for students to experience the performing arts right here in Wilmington. The Wonder Series brings national and international acts from around the world together for a culturally enriching experience guests of all ages can enjoy.”

Tickets and “Choose-Your-Own” packages are available now. Just as with the PNC Broadway Series, ticket-buyers enjoy a discount on their entire order when they buy tickets to three or more shows.
