Ledisi - love you too

Ledisi, hailed as one of the most captivating vocalists of her generation, has continually pushed boundaries and redefined the soul and R&B genres with her electrifying performances and powerful storytelling. Born in New Orleans and raised in Oakland, Ledisi has captivated audiences in renowned venues from local clubs to a sold-out performance at Carnegie Hall with her soul-stirring voice and magnetic stage presence. With 15 GRAMMY nominations, including winning Best Traditional R&B, and a string of chart-topping singles, her impact on the music industry is undeniable.

GRAMMY Award-winning artist and Super Bowl pre-game performer, Ledisi, will be performing live in concert on Wednesday, June 4, 2025 at CFCC’s Wilson Center.

Ledisi’s commitment to artistic excellence extends beyond the music industry. Her notable film roles in “Leatherheads” and “Spinning Gold” and her portrayals of Mahalia Jackson in “Remember Me” and “Selma” have showcased her versatility and talent. In addition to her artistic endeavors, Ledisi has advocated for writers and performers on Capitol Hill and received an honorary doctorate from Berklee School of Music in 2024.

Ledisi will be touring with special guest, Marsha Ambrosius, a GRAMMY-nominated artist who makes music at the intersection of love and heartache. Over the years, she’s toured, written, and produced songs with titans including Alicia Keys, Earth Wind & Fire, and Dr. Dre. With four studio albums and a number of chart-topping singles, Ambrosius has grown tremendously during her career, resulting in her latest album CASABLANCO, a nostalgia-inducing instant classic.
